Shipping, Returns & Privacy
Ordering and Shipping Information
At present we sell and ship products within the USA and by special request to Canada.
Tax is not charged for cold food items, like culinary spices and herbs.
There is no sales tax on orders shipped outside of the state of California.
There is an 7.25% sales tax on all elements of an order shipped to an address in California, that contain standard taxable items, like ceramics, books or cookware.
We accept Visa, Master Card and Pay Pal.
Money Orders and Checks (Please allow 5-7 days for out of state checks to clear)

We do not accept Fax orders.
We accept Canadian orders, by special request. All orders to Canada are shipped by UPS. Custom fees may apply to your order and will be calculated when your order is processed. Packages originating from the US are subject to Canadian customs inspection which typically takes one to three days. Please note: During periods of heavier traffic (around the holidays) packages may take longer for customs to process.
Order Shipment confirmations:
Orders received by 1pm PST usually ship out within 24 hours. However, if there is an exception we will advise you when we confirm your order via our order confirmation service.
If you require that an order be shipped out by a certain date,
please advise us by specifying the date in the message section the order form.
You can elect to have your package delivered by the US postal service or by ground UPS. An estimate of the shipping cost will be shown to you in the checkout area There is no handling charge. Orders over $65.00 qualify for free shipping and will be shipped via the US postal service. If the product is in stock, it can usually be processed and delivered within 72 hours. California and USA deliveries
You can elect to have your order delivered by US Postal Service or by UPS. An estimate of the shipping cost will be shown to you in the checkout area.
We have used the US Postal Service many times and have found them to a cost effective, efficient method of shipment. However, we recommend shipping with UPS as their shipping, tracking, returns and claiming system is user friendly and offers a robust set of shipping options and features.
Orders directed to a Canadian address are shipped via UPS and are subject to handling charges. An estimate of the shipping charges will be shown to you in the checkout area.
Other International Orders
With exception to Canada, we do not ship to countries outside of the United States or its territories, except by special request. Additional handling fees, taxes and tariffs may apply.
After we receive your order, you will receive an email confirmation. As soon as the order is shipped you will then receive another email to confirm the shipment.

We stand behind our products.
If you are dissatisfied with any of our seasoning products, you can replace the item with a different item of similar value or you can return it for a refund of the purchase price to your credit card.
Please repack the non-spice item in its original packaging and follow

- Please supply:
Your name, email, person who purchased the item, packing list number or invoice number.
- You will receive a return authorization and the return address
- Return the purchase with our insured carrier, UPS.
- Retain the shipping receipt and keep it in safe place. This receipt will provide you with a recourse if the item is lost during shipping.
- Please note: We do not recommend that you send returns via the US Postal Service. If an item is lost, it may take a fairly long time to receive a claim
- Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- Refunds will not be issued without an authorization number
- Refunds on cookware or other non-spice items will not be issued if the item has been used to prepare food or has been “seasoned” in anticipation of use.
- Shipping fees are not refundable.

We do not sell, rent or trade customer shipping addresses or email addresses.
Customer email addresses and phone numbers are used to send order related notifications, distribute customer requested newsletters and to reply to customer related inquiries. Your mailing address information is used to ship orders and from time to time we may send you promotional materials

We monitor, collect and measure Juliet Mae’s website statistics to determine our site’s performance and to obtain specific marketing information. We do not share specific customer email, addresses or online purchase activity with outside parties.
All online transactions are processed by a credit card service provider licensed and insured against fraud. Juliet Mae Fine Spices restricts the access to credit card information to only the web store administrator who may require this information to process an online order. We do not retain credit card numbers in our data base and do not keep paper records of credit card information.
Julietmae.com was built with a secure checkout processing software that encrypts all personal information entered when placing an order. This information cannot be viewed or changed at any point after the order is placed
