When I worked as an
advertising/marketing executive, ten hour days were not that unusual. Even
though, I enjoyed cooking, it seemed I didn’t have the time nor the inclination to reach for
the Cuisinart.
We ate out a lot.
But all that changed a
few years ago, when life after marketing began.
I started to cook again
and found it more enjoyable than ever. About the same time, I started to
look at starting a small business I could run with my husband, Bill.
Under the heading of do
what you love….I thought about starting a high end shoe store, an
event business, even importing textiles among others. But one theme kept
coming back: cooking/food.
I knew then, that whatever
we did, it had to echo the sense of pleasant contentment. It is the kind of thing that comes readily from
sharing and creating memories with good
friends around the dinner table.
So, I went happily into
the work of developing a new product. It had to be as fresh and as carefully crafted as
possible. It had to be easy to use and it had to be really delicious!
My goal was to create an
interesting product that I could proudly serve to family and good friends. After a
lot of trial and error, I believe we have succeeded.
Whether it’s our Classic
Curry blend or a simple Organic Herb mix, we are always striving to ensure that every batch is as good as it can be. It’s our job to do the work. It’s your job to enjoy!
